General Terms and Conditions

1- Inscription

If you wish to register for one of our individual or group trips, you must first accept our general and special conditions without any reservations. The registration will be taken into account from the signature of the contract between the seller and the buyer and the payment of a deposit of 40% of the total amount of the services. See payment terms below.


2- The Price

The price of the tour is indicated by the seller to the client at the time of registration. Prices do not include drinks and personal expenses unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to revise the prices in case of a significant increase in the cost of transportation, taxes and exchange rates between the day of registration and the day of departure.

The prices of our tours and treks are in USD (United States Dollars) because we pay all hotels, transportation and entrance fees to tourist sites in Dollars. Moreover, by getting paid in dollars, we are closer to the reality of our costs and avoid the fluctuation of the EURO/USD exchange rate.


3- International Flights

International airfare from the client's country of origin to Peru is not included in our programs.


4- Domestic Flights

Unless specifically noted in the "Price does not include" section, these flights are included in our programs.


5- Hotels

The list of the hotels of your trip is presented in the part located on the right in the quote. We have chosen to define the different categories of hotels by stars in order to give you immediately readable information, we use the local standards. We may sometimes be forced to replace the planned hotel by another hotel of a similar category in case of unavailability of rooms in this hotel at the time of booking.


6- Local Guides

In the case where the services include the local English-speaking guide, the guide will welcome you at each stage of your trip and will ensure the visits. They bring the local touch that characterizes their own region in such contrasting countries.


7- The Drivers

Some of our individual trips are proposed with a local driver only. Be aware that he is not English speaking and often speaks only a few words of English. His service is included in the program, he is not at your disposal and is only in charge of your transportation. The itinerary and meeting time will have to be checked with him every day.


8- The Group Service

This service, occasionally proposed in our programs is operated by grouping several participants (from 2 to a complete bus) around one or several multilingual local guides. It implies that a service of several hotels is operated at the departure and the return of the excursion. The quality of service cannot be compared to a the private service, for which the supplement is regularly indicated.


9- Cancellation on your part

If you cancel more than 90 days prior to departure, the entire deposit paid will be refunded, less a $150 processing fee per person and less non-refundable fees (bank transaction fees, penalties for cancellation of domestic flights, trains or other). In addition, if you were part of an individual group that you created with friends or family, you will be charged the difference in the variable costs of ground transportation and guides so as not to penalize the other participants in your group by reducing the number of participants.

In case of cancellation between 90 days and 60 days before departure, 25% of the deposit will be refunded (bank transaction fees will be charged to you).

If you cancel less than 60 days before departure, no refund will be given, as our agency has already incurred the expenses for your stay by this date.
No-show at the departure meeting or interruption of the trip by the participant for any reason whatsoever will not give rise to any refund.


10 – Cancellation on our part

In the case of a cancellation on our part due to a case of force majeure (e.g.: social or political unrest that would not allow to ensure the minimum safety conditions), the entire deposit will be paid, except for bank charges and non-refundable expenses incurred by our agency, upon presentation of the receipts. No compensation will be paid. If you have not taken out cancellation insurance for your international ticket, our agency cannot be held responsible and will not intervene in the reimbursement of the latter.

For group trips, in the event that the minimum number of participants is not reached one month before departure (7 participants), our agency will propose 2 alternative solutions: the first is to add an additional cost depending on the number of participants for the same services, the second is to maintain the price by removing certain services, typically private transportation, half-board and/or the permanent French-speaking guide

You are free to accept or not these proposals. If you refuse them, you will be refunded the full amount of the deposit paid, minus bank charges. No compensation will be paid.


11- Program modification

For reasonably justified reasons, our agency reserves the right to modify a means of transportation, accommodation, itinerary, as well as the schedules of certain excursions, without the participants being able to claim any compensation.

Our agency is not responsible for the consequences of any type of alteration of the program caused by airport closures, weather conditions or other reasons, such as flight delays, political situations, war, strikes, changes in the type of aircraft and/or any other circumstances of force majeure. The additional costs generated by this kind of alteration of the program are at the passenger's expense.

Our agency declines all responsibility for personal damage, accidents, illnesses, as well as theft, extraction, deterioration or loss. Moreover, the luggage is at all times under the responsibility of the participant.


12- Risk and Insurance

You are aware that the security conditions of the country, the distance from medical centers and the activities you will perform involve certain risks that you accept knowingly.

Our agency does not provide insurance. We ask you to take out repatriation assistance insurance and to send us a copy of the contract. In general, these assistance contracts are already included in the services of your credit card or health insurance. If you do not have repatriation assistance, we will ask you to sign a liability waiver.


13- The formalities

Participants are required to respect local rules regarding customs, passports, vaccinations. Our agency cannot be held responsible for the possible consequences of a participant's failure to comply with a formality.


14- Terms of payment

The registration is effective from the payment of a deposit of 40% of the total amount of the services which implies the acceptance of our terms and conditions of subscription. This payment* will be made by credit card on a link that we will send you.

We give you the possibility to pay the remaining 60% of the total amount by international bank transfer or, if you wish, on your arrival directly to your guide at the beginning of your trip, in this case in cash. By paying this way, we will give you a 5% discount.
